It did this for 77 minutes in one cleaning before running out of battery.

The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums that we tested has a self-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris in an external dirt compartment located on its charging base once it's full. This reduces hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L that is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.

Like the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7's map is used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones, but not the i3+ EVO.

While the i3+ EVO is better in removing dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at however, it's not the most effective in terms of cleaning corners and edges. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and it became stuck on cords and toys while testing.

The Q5 Pro has a very large dust bin of 770ml which means you don't have to empty it as frequently as some other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute running time is also impressive when compared to other 2-in-1 robots that we tested. When the battery is low, it will automatically return to its dock where it recharges and then resumes cleaning from where it left off. You can manage the Q5 Pro via the app and also use voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

This is the first robot we've seen with 3D mapping. This along with other advancements made it perform extremely well in our tests of vacuuming and mopping test. You can schedule cleaning times, set no-go zones, and view the battery's status among other things. The app is simple to use, but it does not support Apple HomeKit. This feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. As of early November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to reflect that this feature is delayed until 2025. HomeKit is not compatible with several other robots, but Siri Shortcuts are.

The iMop awed us with its analysis of coverage and navigation efficiency, and it was very efficient in avoiding obstacles, including furniture. It also has the ability to find its way back to the base station, which is a great feature in the event it is unable to recharge its battery during cleaning.



The spot cleaning mode allows you to clean a particular area on your floor. It can also be programmed to follow a specific route, which is helpful in narrow staircases or hallways. It was capable of cleaning carpets during our carpet cleaning test however, it had trouble with thicker pile carpets and rug.
